We just completed this cool little mod for a user who wanted to see 1 column for each of their users. Users are listed in alphabetic order from right to left and "Prev User(s)" / "Next User(s)" buttons let one "scroll" through the list of users from right to left.

This mod took us two hours to complete for this user; if anyone is interested in something similar, this isn't too hard to do so I'd encourage you to give it a shot.
