Does anyone know if Filemaker (or a plug-n developer) are planning to add something to the Conversion process from FM5/6 to FM7?

At the moment when you convert, the files are converted to 7 but remain as seperate files. I have a number of 30 file plus FM6 solutions that I am converting and it would be great to end up with a single file, multi-table solution rather tahn the multiple files.

Is there a reason why this cannot be done (by someone very clever presumably)?

A business opportunity for someone if nothing exist at the moment!

There is no built-in ability to combine files in FM7, but there are a couple utilities that can do some of it. Check out FMrobot and FmPro Migrator. Be sure to check the requirements for those (I believe FMrobot needs FileMaker Developer to generate a DDR, I don't know about FmPro Migrator.)
