Realtime appointment

He John,

In fase 2 my client possibly wishes a realtime appointment system, this can be accomplished with the troi plugin. Do you have any experience our information about approches to handle this.

Can you post some more details about what you mean by realtime and how you see one of the plugins helping out? Do you mean alarms for upcoming appointments?

I mean the following.

In our situation we have two person who take phone calls and make appointments for the accountmanagers. The appointments are now made in outlook environment. This is going to be replaced by your lovely calendar integrated in the CRM solution.

Often they have to call the accountmanager or just plan them in but their agenda is not always up to date or they just do not want to have a appointment that day, etc , etc. Outlook has a system of sending inventation of an appointment by mail but this is not realtime.

With the troi activater plugin you can trigger scripts at the computer of the specific accountmanger he has to choose accept appointment or decline this can be done realtime or no reaction at all. etc
