I get the data via an imported text string that typically looks like:
301 ~SB40~URGENT~EB00~ ~SB40SC68~ CHECK BLOOD SAMPLE~EB40EC68~ more normal text
Key: the tilde (~) starts and stops formatting info
SB set bold
EB end bold
SC set clour
EC end colour
nn identifies the colour or variable for the SB or SC

I am not so interested in the nn part, just displaying the bold and usually red text requirements.

For FMPro6 I had replaced ~ttnn~ with an * and ~ttnnttnn~ with an *, but with V8 I'd like to introduce the colours, so a little more fancy parsing is required.
I'd appreciate any pointers to plug-ins or bright ideas.
