Hi.
This is pretty easy to do using FileMaker's built in security scheme. In FileMaker Pro 6, go to the Help menu and select "Contents and Index". Search for "record level access; the first result you get ("Notes about limiting access on a record-by-record basis") will tell you everything you need to know. In FileMaker 7 there is a little more reading required; open the Help menu and select FileMaker Pro Help; search for "protecting databases". The first article you see, "Protecting databases with accounts and privilege sets," has links to the items you'll want to read. Enjoy! John Sindelar
