I have just had the following request from a user:

"Can we change something on filemaker pls – the search facility doesn’t pull parts of words

e.g. You search for the word ‘Front’ – it doesn’t pull up the account Finfront"

I am pretty sure the answer is 'No' but is there a custom function or scripting that will help with this?

I think you just want them to enter their search a little differently: searching for *Front will find Front and FinFront.
