I am a new user to FM ver 7. How do you change the date field from 11/04/2004 to November 04, 2004

Hi Don,

Simply enter layout mode and select your date field. Then select Format from the FileMaker menu. One of the format options is "Date..."

You'll find a number of present formats including "November 4, 2004". If you need a leading zero before the day (04 instead of 4), you'll find an option for that about half way down the same date format screen.
