Repeat Appointments

Can anyone help with a script for repeat appointments? My office schedules classes that typically run two days a week for several weeks a semester, that sort of thing. I've downloaded the free version of the calendar and it works great with our database so far, but it would really help to have this function available.

Thank you.

Hi. Glad to hear the calendar is working well for you.

We have a very nice repeating events feature in the Pro Version of the calendar. You can see a screen shot from that portion of the software here.

As these scripts are very hard to do well, you might find it easier to use / modify the one in our Pro Version rather than writing your own.

Hope that helps,

John

Does the calendar pro version also have the ability to show conflicting appointments?

Good question.

Only the SE (Scheduling Edition) versions of the calendar have conflict flagging.

If you go to the product page for any of the calendar versions, there are good comparison charts of the most important features.

For Example

Hope that helps.

The Pro Scheduling Edition has the built in ability to show conflicts on both the Daily and on the Schedule tabs. (If you need to know more, a detailed discussion of the way conflicts are displayed in the Scheduling Edition can be found here.)

In the regular Pro Version, this is something you'd have to add. This post from our support forum describes one strategy for adding conflict awareness to Pro.
