Good day!!
Im trying to get FMP 8 to open up the following url within IE.
file://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/Databases/New_Pu ... t_List.htm
This file is on a server hence the xxx.
If i copy this line directly into the address bar of my IE it works great it goes to the appropriate file all is well.
But if i use it inside the Open URL function, it only goes to the file that is available before the '#' char.
Its not bad, but that represents my main menu.
As the other represents a specific part in my menu.
Am I doing something wrong and can it be fixed to i get the same result as if i where pasting this info manually into the web browser address bar.
Ty vm for your hlp.
PS this represents a hlp tutorial built using 'RoboHelp'.
PS2 if you cant think of anything that would fix this, can you recomend another way maybe for my users to get access to my hlp files.
Thx
Need hlp with url

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to use FileMaker's OpenURL script step with an anchor (#). I believe you may want to build individual pages which redirect to the anchors in question and then call those pages from FileMaker.
