I changed the name of a resource and the appointments for the resource disappeared from the calendar. I poked around and found out that the resource name is the key field, which explained why the appointments disappeared. Is there a script that exists to rename a resource so the underlying entries in the appointment table(s) get updated? Or am I missing something?
If not, I can make my own.
Thanks.
Resource names are key fields, problem when changed

You're not missing anything, and you're right that we base our relationships off the resource name.
Your appointments are still there when you rename a resource, (they' are still there on the Day, Week, and Month views) but since the resource name is changed they don't show up under the new name on the Schedule view or in the filters. There is currently no script to do a batch-name-change on existing appointments with the old resource name. We've done this on the list or table views in the calendar using FileMaker's built in "Replace Field Contents..." command, but you could certainly make a script that would tidy it up a bit.
