How do you synchronize a local copy of a project management database (such as on a laptop) with the network database? The network is not assessible beyond the lan, and the director is often away from the office, but usually brings her laptop everywhere she goes.

This is pretty tricky, since synchronizing changes made offline is not something that is built in to FileMaker.
