I have setup the highlight summary to show custom fields from the event which you mouseover an event in the calendar, however when you mousover an event with a start time the event shows only the status / company name and no other details in a row.

I'm not surprised you're having trouble with this: since the calendar isn't "touching" the event records (this is why it is so fast) the only information available to a tool tip is what is in the calendar's array (the "summary" and time that you saw in the tool tips which came with the calendar).

You can't really get more in there without writing a second array, which is a serious modification.
