I am attempting to pull data from the resources table & event detail into a new report layout (to save as a pdf).

Im my event detail my resource is a drop down list which pulls data from field in the resource table.

I have the usual details in the event detail page.

I am trying to make a report which pulls data from the event detail tables and also resource data field (plus additional resource data from the associated resource record not shown in the event detail .) chosen from the given event.

I hope this makes sense.

At present i get either the resource details showing or the event details showing but not both together in the report.

Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Your report is likely based on the events table, with the resource info coming from the *related* resource record. Not all versions of the calendar have a relationship between the event table occurrence and the resource so you may need to make one. Then you can add resource as a subsummary part above the event's body part if you'd like.

Hope that helps,

Still no luck, On the event detail page when you choose id contact you automatically get the company, address etc fields filled in . I want to do the same for the chosen resource on the event detail page & report page.

My resources are within the same file as the calendar pro.

On the report page i siimply wish to have the event / resource fields in an a4 layout to save as a pdf for sending to clients.

The contacts work on the report page as do the event details but no resource details.

Can you advise on this,....

You need a relationship between the table occurrence your Event Detail layout is based on and a new instance of Resources. Then any attributes of the event's resource would be available in the Event Detail layout and in your report (if it is based on the same table as Event Details).

If that doesn't help, let me know which version of the calendar you have and I can be more specific.
