Hi

I am using fmp 9 and seedcode complete...

When using Contacts, I frequently copy information from various sources and then paste it into the Contact fields; such as names, addresses & phone #s. When I do this, the text formatting is overridden and I end up with all kinds of fonts and font sizes. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

Also, is there a way to display the database permanently at 125% rather than 100%?

Thanks,

Shelley

Hi Shelley,

Thanks for the post. This is a pretty common issue. The best way to deal with this is to make the field they are pasting into an auto-enter calculation that is set to replace existing contents. You can then use the TextFormatRemove ( text) function on itself.

For example, if the field is named Notes. The calculation would look like:

TextFormatRemove ( Notes )

I've attached a few images as well.

There is a script step called Set Zoom Level and it has a setting for locking the zoom level you select, unfortunately 125% is not available, and it jumps to 150% from 100%.

Let me know if that helps,
Jason

Hi Jason,

That did the trick! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I really appreciate it.
