Hi

I have copied my working version of seedcalendar pro from my "internal" test macosx tiger server to a macosx production server.

Now whatever i do i cant't open the database in filemaker server admin..
When i create a copy of the file i can open the database but can't open/edit etc the file when accessing the file remotely with filemaker...

Help greatly appreciated

mario

Hi Mario,

Sounds like a permissions issue. Get Info on the file you're trying to host and make sure the group "fmsadmin" has Read & Write access to the file. (This is in the Ownership and Permissions section of the Get Info window.)

The other thing to check, of course, is that this new file doesn't now exceed the limit you've set for how many files can be hosted on your server.

Hope that helps,

John

hi

definitely was a permissions issue
i had to solve it through netinfo though
the username password combo of the file was the problem

thanks
