Address preview button
Posted: Fri Jan 25, 2008 2:34 amI can't figure out how you got that button in the Contacts layout to say "Preview", when it seems to be a field object with a value of "CommonOne". Same applies to "Map". Help! Please!
This is a trick we use to cut down on calculated fields. We're showing the CommonOne field from a related table, but using number formating to format the field as boolean: showing the word "preview" if the value is not zero.
So, if there is a related address, you see the word "preview". If there is no related address (and no "1" in our related field) you see nothing.
Right-click on the field and select Number Format to change this.
