I am in the plumbing and heating business. We sell our jobs using a flat rate system. This means we create the price first using a standardized pricing manual. Much like mechanics use today.
I need to create my flat rate prices. Each price item will consist of materials, and a certain amount of labor.
Example.
KF100 Kitchen Faucet install
1 facuet 50
2 fittings 10
.5 labor 90
____________
Total 150
I want to then be able to invoice the customer for a KF150. The line ite on the invoice will read Kitchen faucet install . IT will have a total of $150.
The materails and labor details will be unprinted however they will need to be recorded for reporting.
I am assuming the the layout to create something like this would be a portal? much like an invoice layout.
Can anyone give me any direction of this.
