Multiple Line Items Printing Invoice

Hi John,
I've modified the layout for Print Invoice, since there's usually only one item on the invoices I send out. Today I needed to create an invoice with three line items but now I can't seem to get multiple line items to show up. Only the first item appears when I go to print. I don't have pre-defined line items, I simply type in the description in the invoice layout. Could that be the issue?
Thanks for any assistance...

Don't know quite what you changed, but the print invoice layout should still print multiple lines if a) it is still based on the InvoiceLines table occurrence and b) it still has a body part. If you switched the table occurrence or deleted the body part you may want to try and undo that change or create a new layout based on the print invoice layout from a clean copy of the file.
Another thing that sometimes causes just the first page to print is altering the "print" script step toward the bottom of the print script. This step has pint options assigned with it and one of those is to print the "Records Being Browsed". Make sure that is still in there in the print options.
Hope that helps.

Hi John,
Actually what it's doing is printing 3 invoices instead of listing all of the line items on one page.

Hmmm. Sounds like you may have made the whole invoice in the body part which prints once per line item. Take a look at an invoice layout from a clean copy of the file and see how we have the header, subtotal and footers in separate "sub summary" parts.

That's exactly what I have set up! What should I put where, so I get it to print correctly?

=)
If you have a clean copy of the file, take a look at the print invoice layout and you'll see what goes where. If you need a fresh copy, send me an email (john at seedcode.com)
