Hello All,
I have Code Complete on FMPA 9 server, I just installed IWP and following the instructions:
I opened the Calendar using Admin.
I start the web browser.
Go to http://www.127.0.0.1:80
I use the Admin password for the iwp page

Then it represent me with the password authentication page again, but Nothing happens, and the it says:

You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied.

Any pointers please. :(

Are you using FileMaker Server Advanced? If so, check that IWP is running by making sure IWP is set to ON in the screen shot shown on p. 54 of the FMS getting started guide: http://www.filemaker.com/downloads/pdf/ ... ted_en.pdf

Follow the instructions in chapter 3 of that pdf for testing your deployment.

If you're npt using server and are publishing them using FileMaker client's IWP, make sure you can open the IWP Module for Complete in FileMaker client and add records to it (this makes sure the files are unzipped and that you have file permissions to read and write to them). Then make sure both the IWP Module and Complete are open before you try them in your browser.

Hope that helps.

Thanks John,

it was the Ch3 testing that did the trick.

Regards.

Just Curious,

The address ended up being as follows:
http://192.168.1.101/fmi/iwp/res/iwp_home.html

instead of just http://192.168.1.101:80
1- excuse my Ignorance, but why is it that?

2- BTW, I can get to the page from within the network, but not from the web even thought I have the fire wire deactivated. any pointers there?

TIA, you have been great help
