mysterious IWP problem

Hello John:
Hope it's OK to post this question to the forum - I'm thinking maybe it'll be useful to others if they experience a similar problem. Here's what I've done:
1) Placed a copy of SeedCodeIWP.fp7 in my Solution folder, alongside my solution (name = officebase.fp7).
2) Opened SeedCodeIWP.fp7.
3) Modified "external data source" so that it points to officebase.fp7.
4) Opened officebase.fp7
5) Turned on Instant Web Publishing and Filemaker Sharing in both files. Selected "do not show this file on IWP home page" for officebase.fp7.
6) After receiving error message ("Port 80 unavailable"), changed port to 591 in both files.
7) At this point, when I click the "Calendar" button on the SeedCodeIWP layout (in Browse mode), I see a list of my appointments. Everything looks great. I'm talking about the actual files here, not the web interface.
6) Now I test the system by entering the appropriate URL in my web browser (Safari 3.1):
-- the correct web page appears, containing the link to SeedCodeIWP.
-- I click that link, then log in with "Admin" leaving the password field empty.
-- Yay! The SeedCodeIWP layout appears.
-- Boo! When I click on Calendar, the Calendar layout appears, but it is empty. None of my appointments show! Similarly, clicking on Contacts takes me to the Contacts layout - but none of my contacts (patients) appears.
So that's where I'm stuck.
Any suggestions?
Yours,
Jim Recht
