Was thinking of using Seedcode to show records from a variety of tables in this way A user can see all the records they created and modified. If they need to see what work they did last thursday it would be there. I would just use Date modified or something like that. Do you think this could work?

Definitely. Just create a Source No x layout for this purpose and map the date and time fields to calcs based on your mod timestamp. You'd need one such source for each table whose mods you want to track however.
