Hi,

I am wondering about the summary field, it is never indexed. Does it slow things down?

Only a bit. We only search on the summary field when filtering by title, normally we just search on dates so having the summary unstored isn't a huge deal. However, once a found set of events is found to be displayed on the calendar, we do read this field so if it is REALLY slow (recursive, hoppy, etc.) you may feel it.
