How to go from Events List to date/time/resource of event

I would like to put a button in the body part of the Events List layout that would display that event on the calendar. This would mean the script would navigate to the DateStart, at the TimeStart, and show the appropriate Resource.
Has anyone found a built-in way to to this, using the existing scripts? Or has anyone built a script to do this?
