Hello John:
In the process of updating my v2.1 to v2.2, I’m not sure how best to replace the necessary scripts (Recent, End Recent..., etc.) — can I simply import these from my copy of v2.2? If I do that, do I first delete the existing scripts? Any help appreciated.

Hey Jim,
You're actually replacing the script STEPS, leaving the scripts intact. So select all the script steps from the 2.2 file, copy them, move to your file, open the same script, select all the steps, delete them and paste in the new ones. Yes, you need FileMaker Advanced for this. It is really essential for development now that so much of FM10 and 11 development involves variables. Hope that helps, John John Sindelar

Yes, that’s exactly what I was looking for! I recently sprang for a copy of 11 Advanced, so this should work swimmingly. Thanks again!
