How to Color-code Events on Free Calendar

Hi. Just installed the Free Calendar and its great!

Is it possible to color-code events, based upon the Description field? Or do I need to add an additional field to color-code entries? Is this possible to do this on the Free Calendar, or do I first need to purchase the Calendar Pro version?

Finally, on the Integration process, Step 11, the link to Multi-Line Event information requires a password to view. Is this intentional?

Thanks!

Thanks for your post. Sorry about that multi-line link: there are no multi-line events in the free calendar-- it is a pro calendar thing-- so our docs engine thought you wanted to write an entry and asked for your password.

I'm sorry for the confusion and have amended the docs.

Well to color code the way we do it-- where users can pick their own colors-- you need the pro version. You may be able to get something going in the free version using conditional formatting of the fields, but you need one conditional formatting calc per possible color, so it is a bit hard to maintain.

If you decide to try this, get it working on the day view first as the fields there are a little simpler, and use Self to reference the contents of the field you're formatting. CalendarContentReptCalc should be the field you're formatting.

Hope that helps,

John
