Tabs for Module navigation

Using the Filemaker layout bar to navigate between modules seems very labor-intensive. I'd like to create top-level tabs to quickly switch between modules (Contacts; Calendar; Invoices, etc), as in most CRM systems. Where would the best place be to start creating such a layout?

Hey Guido,
I wouldn't think of this as a "layout" but as a series of buttons that you can paste on to every layout. This is a piece of cake if you don't need to hide some buttons from some users. If you do, however, you start running into all sorts of little challenges.
