I have set up the calendar to open separately from my main solution in a window named "Calendar"

I am having a problem where the system will change focus back to the main solution window rather than the calendar after editing a calendar entry.

For example, if my calendar window is on top, and I click on a calendar entry to open an Event Detail window. The detail window does open on top, but now the main solution window is behind it, and the calendar window is in the back. So, when I click Close & refresh calendar, the main solution window is now in front and I have an extra step to get back to the calendar.

I tried modifiying the Bring All Windows Forward script by adding two lines at the end. One to select the calendar window and the final line to select Repitition one of $sc_WindowNames. This appeared to work fine until I tried opening multiple events (events with overlapping times). In this case, clicking Close Window & Refresh causes the remaining event detail window to be hidden behind the Calendar window.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hi Rusty,

Hope all is well. You're right to suspect: Bring All WIndows Forward { All }

The script is not expecting a window to "stay" in the background. It assumes that any extra windows that it finds belong to the calendar itself, so it brings them forward. You should be able to adjust for this by changing the IF statement that looks for whether it's the solution window to something like:

IF [($sc_Window ≠ $$sc_SolutionWindowName ) AND ( $sc_Window ≠ <<YourMainWindowName>> ) ]

That will keep either your main window or the calendar window from "shuffling" forward."
