Think I Have it but...

The freebie is working save that the Event List does not display the Sub-Summary Date field, thus not allowing the Calendar to properly display the events contained within andy given day in the Week and Month views. Everything else appears to be functioning as it should. Any help on resolving this would be terrific. The calendar itself is really good and I will get the pro rev once this last freebie issue is resolved. :)

Hi,

You may want to check sub-summary parts themselves to make sure they're pointed at the correct sort fields. Also, we don't have any default sorts set up, so it may just be a matter of sorting the events once you get there. Nothing fancy going on here, just straight FileMaker.

Thank Jasone, that was the problem. The freebie works with my system at last. Question, how different is it to install the pro version as I have all the scripts in the freebie totally connected into my db. Hopefully, I don't have to do a complete script update with the pro. Is that possible?

Hi,

Unfortunately, you do need to start the integration for Pro from the beginning. The scripts and tables in Free and Pro are different, and they need to be pasted in with the proper context. We always recommend starting from the beginning with a clean copy, as trying to find and correct individual parts usually takes more time than just starting fresh.

Hi,

The calendar itself doesn't work on Instant Web Publishing. IWP needs really vanilla layouts to work properly, and our calendar structure is too complex for IWP. We do have an IWP extension for the Calendar and Complete, but this is just basic list and form views for viewing the data, no actual Calendar views.
