Briefly --

Wondering if there are noticeable speed differences -- either positive or negative -- in the latest release of SC Calendar Pro.

Perhaps due to either the re-write of SC Cal, or due to native improvements within Filemaker Pro 12's calculation & rendering engine?

Speed is comparable with one exception: The FM 12 version is much faster when rendering multiple sources at the same time. The FM 12 version is also easier to integrate into your own solution. And here's a visual comparison of the main interface screens:
