Filtered Projects value list

On the Event details layout, after I select a contact I would like to only be able to select Projects that are already linked to that contact. In the Projects table I do have a FK for the contact. How can this be done?

What you're talking about is called a "conditional value list". Here's FileMaker's document describing the technique:
