we are working with a client that has an older system that does not have accounts in their db. however, each workstation does have a distinct UserName set so I have modified the "open - set defaults/user record" script to set the global account name field to the value of Get ( UserName) and just wanted to see if this will have any further impact on Spark as it it seems to be working as expected after this change.

Everyone logs in with then same user name, right? Then you could just use that user record in Settings / Users. It should get created for you automatically when the first user logs in.
