In the main window for my label batch it says:
"Recipients 29 Contacts selected"

I click Manage Recipients and the list comes up, and they all have a strike-through which seems odd. When I click one, the strike-through is cleared, but in the main window it now says:

"Recipients 30 of 29 Contacts selected"

It increments for each one I click. 31 of 29 etc. Weird.

And when I preview, it still shows 29 labels, nothing changed.

What's going on?

Hey Tom,

I imagine this is happening because you haven't finished mapping the objects on the Manage Recipients layout. The conditional formatting on the contact's name AND the script parameter on that button both make reference to the primary key field in your contacts table. Map those and you should see this behaving for new mailings.

Thanks, that was it -- I had set that layout up originally but then switched to a different primary key field (say what? Long story involving migrating tables and data cleanup).
