We’ve tried the free CCCalendar and now we purchased the Pro Version. I just wanted to make sure we wouldn’t loose the appointments that were entered into the free version. Can we just use the appointment.fp5 we used from the free version? It looked a little different and I was afraid of not getting some of the features of the Pro version. Or will we have to enter in all the appointments again?

You can't just use the old appointments file: you are correct that some of the pro features require changes to that file.
Yet you can certainly upgrade without loosing your appointments. What you want to do is import your appointments from the free version's appointments file into the appointments file in the pro version. If you haven't done much importing in FileMaker, be sure to make sure that you have found all the records in the free version's file as only appointments in the found set will be imported. Check out FileMaker's built in help for more information about this by searching this help for "import", select the fifth item returned "Importing data into an existing file."
