Power failure then sync to Google fals

Everything runs perfectly for months then 2 things in 3 days!

My client had a power cut a couple of nights ago - long enough that their ups was drained too. I am pretty sure the server was set to shut down gracefully, there is certainly no damage to the FM files, but since they restarted their FM server the sync to Google (both ways) has failed. The iCal link works from iCal to FM but not the other way.

The error I get when I try a manual sync is
Sync failed: java.io.IOException: Could not read file mappings from serialized data: 8f39e4de-3a2f-4f21-8ad0-79d612baf47

If there anything (else) I can try without resetting the Google sync, and if I do have to reset presumably there will be nothing lost?
I have already started/stopped web publishing, with and without republished the calendars.

Thanks

Tim

Update - I have gone through the full Google Rest and am still getting the same error (albeit with the new UID in the dialog).
Help please!!

More things I've tried
Re-installing zulu and starting from scratch - including deleting the ZuluSync folder. Everything seems to be working fine with iCal

Ok, found the problem. I had 2 calendars with visibility controlled by access privileges, something which is apparently not possible as described in the 'Google Limitations' area of the documentation.

I say apparently because I had this working successfully for a couple of days before the power failure!

Let's hope John and Jessie can add this feature soon.

Thanks for the follow up Tim,

You are correct that record level privileges on ZuluCalendarList do cause issues with the Google sync.

You can restrict access to Zulu calendars by using Google's sharing functionality. You can sync all your calendars to one "Master" Google account and then share out the different calendars, with different privileges, from there.

Best,
-Jason

Thanks Jason, will see if that will work for my client.
