I would like to migrate an ICS file to a FileMaker table. I can certainly write my own parser - but wonder if this is a problem that has been solved before. Does anyone have a solution for parsing an ICS file into say XML, CSV, or some other format that could be imported into FMP?

Answering my own question...

Sunbird (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/) has a nice CSV (Outlook format) export function. I'm looking at the details of the export now - it may not have all the data that's available in the original ICS file, but it's going to serve my purpose.

Sounds good Charlie. For future reference, this is something we offer as a service, taking .ics files or URLs and bringing them into FMP. We can even explode repeating events in most cases.
