We're having a situation where events will sometimes disappear from iCal although they still exist in the Calendar in FileMaker. The disppearances are infrequent but still disturbing to users who are out of the office and see an appointment on their phone's calendar in the morning but no longer see it in the afternoon. It looks like all fields used by Zulu are defined, filled and indexed properly, so there's nothing that points to an obvious problem.

Any ideas?

A couple ideas....

- Are the events marked "deleted" in FileMaker? (Is there a 1 in Zulu's "deleted" field). If so, iCal may be set to delete events X days in the past and once deleted this way, subsequent edits in FMP won't "bring the event back" until that deleted flag is cleared.

- You may want to see if the events fall outside Zulu's date range gates.

- The most common reason for an event not showing up is that it no longer matches any filter criteria (the filter value field for the event is both not blank and fails to match any ZuluCalendarList record).

- It could also be that the event no longer matches the access privileges under which the user is logged into iCal.
