I just upgraded my mac server LION to moutain lion.
The upgrade went smooth but I had to reinstall the whole FMS part, including the ZULU.
I can publish calendars, I can get the your server.com/zulu page.
xml publishing is working.
However when I try to connect a ical client it says "could not login with these credentials". User not found on system.
I know it has to do with the ssl, certificate settings. MLS reinstalled a certificate and created a site with SSL.
my serer is at access.embatek.com.br
It drives me nuts...as always.
Yours
Pierre

Ok... I solved it myself.
In the "publish"script in filemaker change use SSL from "yes"to "No" and there will be light. |

or still not solved. the problem persists and I cannot display the calendars in iCal. It always gives an autentication error " user not recognized by server" or something similar.

I tried everything, reinstall FMS12.2, Zulu 13.6, reinstall Sample file, re publish all calendars, creating a new user in fm file..you name it. Soon I come to the conclusion that ZULU is not worth the money neither time to troubleshoot or maintain. I have spent so many hours on this solution. Whenever you upgrade something the whole installation breaks. It is just so sensitive. |

Nice speaking with you just now Pierre. It sounds like Zulu's running (you're syncing to Google) but your Mountain Lion server isn't letting iCal traffic in. I've asked Jason if he has any suggestions for how to trouble shoot this and will post back here as soon as I know more.

Hi Pierre,
Thanks for posting this. I just sent a message from support as well. Can you please post the whole URL you're trying to use here? It's cut off in the image, but from what I can see it doesn't look right. It should be: zulu/calendars/<filename>/ Cheers! -Jason |

Jason, sent via email...but here it goes again
http://hercules.360works.com/caldav/pub ... %22%7D%5D# with https://200.204.202.110/zulu/calendars/ZuluSampleData/ cheers. I really think that this issue is a Moutain Lion Server issue, not a Zulu. I use this software (Zulu) for over a year. I do not make errors anymore typing the path to my ZuluSampleData file. It has to do with the way Calendar passes on the credentials. Some quirky port, somewhere hidden in the system does not let it come through. I am now a week without the solution working. I made a workaround, publishing the calendars in Google, so people can see them, but why go over one more platform, if Calendar should connect directly. yours Pierre |
Ok Pierre,
We're not having any issues with MLS on our end, but we'll take another look with SSL. If you're publishing to http successfully then I don'y think SSL is set up correctly as this would require https. Have you tried http://200.204.202.110/zulu/calendars/ZuluSampleData/ ? Can you please try to connect with iCal using both and then send me another log after that. Thanks! |

And i have tried even with a question mark. yours Pierre |
Hi Pierre,
I assume you also tried http://200.204.202.110/zulu/calendars/ZuluSampleData/ but wanted to be clear as your showing me a lot of different URLs. 1) Please tell me what URL you are getting when you publish successfully as per the attached screen shot: 2) Please try to use that one with iCal 3) If it fails, please send me a log after you've done that Thank you. |

Dear Support,
Do you have any directions? I am now since more than 10 days without ZULU working!!! |
Pierre,
I just sent you an e-mail from support, but we can't figure out what the issue is or reproduce on any of our Mountain Lion Servers. We don't have any reports of this issue, but if anybody reviewing this thread is experiencing similar issues or has any ideas then please let us know. |

Jason,
OK.. I accept this, fair enough. We use the solution now through google calendar. Only the colours of the calendars do not show and there is a delay of the update interval google<->filemaker I will not further fiddle around with my server, since everything is just working fine and you know how much work it is to set up a server until everything is running smoothly. Pity though. |
Thanks Pierre,
I am keeping the ticket open, so we'll certainly let you know if we find any additional info on this. |
