Hello:

In my Calendar layout, in the Day views (Schedule and List), I show To-Do's at the top. I would like to sort these To-Do's (which in my solution are based on Source No 2) by status, then creation (start) date, then author. Can you help me figure out how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jim,

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

The doc at this link covers how to apply your own sorts to your events: http://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/index.php?n=DayBackForFileMaker.SortingEvents .
By editing one script, you can sort your events in DayBack just like we are used to elsewhere in FileMaker. Pretty cool, I'd say! (Be sure to wrap your Sort Records script steps in the "If" and "Else/If" statements as shown in the link, so your sort step is applied to the correct calendar Source.)

Please let me know if this helps, or if you have any other questions about sorting your ToDos. I'll be happy to help!

Dan
