Please back up your file before making any changes.
If you haven't already, navigate to the "Settings" tab in the calendar sidebar and click "Account Settings". Click "Check For Updates". This button should change to "Install Update" and inform you that version 10.47 is available. Click "Install Update".
The Changes
There have been some significant CSS changes in the redesign of the sidebar header. For these changes to render correctly some existing CSS rules will need to be removed from your current theme file. Please navigate to the "Webviewer: Under The Hood" layout.
If you have not made any theme modifications click the "Restore Built-In Themes" button to update the theme files to the latest version.
If you are not sure, or have made theme file changes then click the edit icon to the right of your currently active theme file. and follow the instructions below.
Once the editor is up locate the section labeled "Tab panel in sidebar" and delete that section of CSS as shown highlighted below.
Once those CSS rules are deleted click "Save Changes & Apply" to make that change permanent.
If you would like to revert to the previous sidebar header design you can add some new CSS rules to your theme file. That CSS can be found on a blog post here: https://www.seedcode.com/preview-new-sidebar-header-for-dayback/.
If you had made CSS changes prior to updating you can re-apply those changes once adding the CSS referenced above to revert to the previous design. If you have trouble with that please reach out.
Finishing Up:
Close the new DayBack file you used to copy the script contents from.
Change the build number recorded in the database. Navigate to "File -> Manage -> Database" then go to the "CalendarInterface" table. Change the "BuildNumberCalc" calculation to read "10.47". Click "OK" to save those changes.
Then please run the "Upon Opening" script in your file. This will ensure all of the new settings load properly and the calendar loads with the correct data.
That's it, enjoy DayBack 10.47.
