We use a couple of cals. Can we use a user preference $$variable to set which cals are active based on that variable?
example: Bob is a technician and needs to see the work orders calendar.
Tom is a mechanic and he needs to see the fleet service calendar.
Can Bob be presented with a different calendar than Tom based on a $$var that is set when they log in to our system?
Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin,
Hope you're doing well. You can definitely set the active sources based on a global $$variable (or other logic). Within the "Load Source Settings at Startup" script there's a Set Variable step for $$sc_SourcesActive. You can set this variable as needed, for example, using If / Else If statements to set it based on your $$variable. That way, the sources that are active at startup can be set conditionally. Let me know if that works for you. If you'd like to completely hide sources for the Sources tab, this would be possible with custom filtering in place of DayBack's Source tab. All the best, Dan Wheelon
