Hi,
We have a request from our client to show all resources when in all calendar views except Resource views. When they enter Resource views, they only want to see resources that go out on site to clients.
Is there a way of doing this? I can't seem to find anything in the documentation
They have DayBack Calendar for FileMaker (version 10.33)
Thanks in advance!

Hi shand7,
The only way to accomplish this currently would be to create your own FMP button (which could be on the calendar layout) that navigates to the resource view and applies the specific list of resources you'd like to view. Docs on navigating the calendar with a button can be found here: https://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/index.p ... Navigation And details on filtering the calendar for resources here: https://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/index.p ... er.Filters And if you'd like help implementing this feature we offer implementation packages, so we can do some screen-sharing with you, or have you send over the files so we can finish the implementation for you. Packages can be used for consulting, coaching, or modifications like these and start at blocks of 3 hrs for $190/hr. When the time comes, you can use this link and, with a day or two notice, we can schedule some time to work with you: http://sites.fastspring.com/seedcode/pr ... onpackages We do have some features we're currently working on that would enable you to customize DayBack to filter the calendar depending on the view you're in, but unfortunately, I don't have a timeline on when this feature will be implemented. Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any further questions. Regards, KC |

Hi KC,
Thanks for your response on this. How can I add a button to the navigation bar? I can't seem to find it on the 'Navigation' documentation. Thanks Andy |
Hi Andy,
The "Calendar" layout is a FileMaker layout with a WebViewer object on it. In order to add your own FileMaker objects to the layout, you'll just need to adjust the calendar WebViewer object to make room for your buttons and place them above, below, or to the side of the WebViewer. Here are a couple examples of what our customers have done with their layouts to have custom sidebars with their own FileMaker objects: https://www.seedcode.com/custom-sidebar-for-dayback/ https://www.seedcode.com/beautiful-cust ... -calendar/ Let me know if that helps!
