Hi Guys,

I have a contact, that has left a company and is not associated with any other company, so I want to remove the entry in the Primary Company field, but I can't get it out of there.

I can delete the record under the Companies section (image 1), but when I click on the primary company button and remove the company in the new window and save from an empty screen (image 2), it still keeps the company name. Eventually it also adds it back in the company section on the right.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Regine,

To remove the primary company from a contact, you need to click on the primary company field, then deselect the company so that it is no longer highlighted in blue and click save. You'll then notice that there is no longer a primary company listed in the field.
