Company Name not updated in Edit screen

Hi John,

I think I came across a little problem.
Scenario:
I created a company (Ross North Homes) and a contact record (Grant Hayes) and attached the company (Ross North Homes) to the contact.

I then realized I entered the wrong company name. Hence I updated the company name from the legal name to the trading name (Complete Homes).

When I look at my contact record it shows correctly (see Update issue 1.png)
When I click Edit it shows the old Company name (see Update issue 2.png)

I was very confused when I noted the two different company names. Only after some research I found out that I had changed the company name. (see Update issue 3.png)

I assume it is a small bug that it doesn't automatically update the edit field.

Hi Regine,

I've verified with the team that this is a bug and I've created a case for it in our system.

Unfortunately, I don't have a timeline on when this might be implemented, but we'll update you as soon we've released a fix for this.
