I am using an older version of SeedCode Calendar (purchased in 2012). I recently upgraded my FileMaker to version 12.
I have converted the calendar to fm 12 but the week and month view i'm getting white lines across the calendar.

There's a known issue with the portal lines when converting a file from FileMaker 11 to 12. I'm not sure if that's what's happening here, but try updating your copy of FileMaker 12 to the latest version (12.0v4 I think). I believe that release fixed this bug. If not, here's a video showing how to apply a workaround:

Forget everything I've said thus far. :) I just converted a stock copy of the .fp7 calendar file to .fmp12 (FM 12.0v4), and I got the same white lines on the solid-colored days. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I'll find out and get back to you.

To fix this cosmetic problem, you need to make two small changes to two of the horizontally repeating fields in the portal on the Month View screen. To get to the objects you need to edit, you'll need to move other objects that are layered on top of them, and that can be tedious. These objects are in a specific stacking order, and FileMaker 12 will reorder them if you move any of them outside the bounds of either the portal row or the tab panel. Here are some instructions and screen shots to show you how I did it:

1. Temporarily change the number of portal rows from 36 to 2, make a note of how tall the portal is with that number of rows (it's 31px tall with 2 rows), then drag the portal height down to make an arbitrarily large first portal row to work in. As long as the field objects stay within that first portal row, their stacking order won't change when you move them around.

2. One at a time, select the top-most field object and add add 100px to its top position on the Position panel on the Inspector palette. (e.g., change from 108px to 208px).

3. When you get to the third one down (CalendarRows::DatesOfMonthDisplayCalc), increase its height by 1 pixel (from 16px to 17px). Then change its top position to 208px to move it out of the way with the others.

4. When you get to the fifth field down (CalendarRows::CalendarBlankRepsGlob), nudge it up by one pixel (from 110px to 109px). Note that this field has a different top position (109px) than the others.

5. Now just put everything back together. Select the fields you moved and put them back to top position 108px either one at a time, or all at once by marquis-selecting them (Command-drag on a Mac).

6. Resize the two-row portal back to 31px high, then change the number of rows back to 36. Switch back to Browse mode and everything should look right.

Whew!

I don't see that problem on Day View, but I do see the white lines on Week View, so you could make the same changes there if you like.
