I think I have found a bug - I hope I am not repeating another report - a quick look did not find it
In Schedule view, with filters set to show only 1 resource it is not possible to drag an event from 1 day to another. As soon as you add another resource to the filters you can drag to another day.
In the DayBack file change the view to Resource - Schedule and 2 days
In the Advanced filters select only Dr. Smith
Try and drag any event to another day - it will not
Go o the Advanced Filters and add Amy Brown
Now you can move Dr. Smith's events to another day
I would apologise, but I know deep down that it is good to get bugs reported, even better to report them fixed!
This applies to 9.52, 9.54 and 9.56. All Mac 10.9.5 - I have not tested on Windows
Thanks
Tim

Tim,
Thanks again for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. It certainly is a bug! Unfortunately, until this bug gets squashed, there's no direct work around -- other than viewing more than one resource, of course. Big kudos to you for finding this bug! Again, thanks for sharing what you found with us. And you're right -- it IS good to get bugs reported, so no need to apologize! Cheers, Dan Dan Wheelon

Thanks for the update Dan. Work around is easy- just involves more clicks- but look forward to the fix.
I can't claim to have found it - one of my clients who is rare in that she is doing thorough testing before final roll-out! Thanks Tim |
