Is there any way for a FileMaker script to be aware of the state of the sidebar? For example, can I set an IF/THEN in a FileMaker script based on the calendar sidebar being open or closed?
Similarly, is there any way for a FileMaker script to open or close the Calendar sidebar?
Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason,
Unfortunately, there are no FileMaker variables set when the sidebar is hidden/shown. I've created a feature request to have this implemented. I wish I had better news for you, but we don't have any timeline on when we'll be able to implement it. You can set the sidebar to default open or closed when the calendar is opened using the instructions in this documentation: http://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/index.php?n=DayBackForFileMaker.Sidebar There is currently no way to script the action when the calendar is already open. I've added this feature request in addition to the previous one. Regards, KC |
