How do i get the company details / company drop down (from the event detail layout) to appear in a new layout and to work in the same manner and allow me to choose a company name and show the details next to it. Hope this makes sense.

I get the company drop down to appear and work great but the additional address / phone data does not show up...

Hi,

The company phone, etc. is shown through a relationship to the company record: make a new occurrence for company (contact) on the graph and then make a relationship to the this new occurrence from the table occurrence on which your new layout is based. Then you can show fields from this new instance of company (contact) on your new layout.
