Can it be set up to pull apointments from an existing FM file?

Can you set it up with multiple accounts so that users can see only "their" appointments?

Sure, the calendar comes with instructions for swapping out the "appointments" file so that you can use a file or table you may already have instead. The Full and Pro versions of CC Calendar also show records from two placeholder databases in the calendar, so you could swap out one or both of those as well.

Yes. Since the calendar (almost) only shows records through portals, any existing security you have in your "appointments" file will migrate through the calendar. Just to be clear, though, there are no security / passwords in the calendar when it is delivered. You'd want to add new accounts etc. to match your setup.
