hey all!
The seedCode calendar is an amazing piece of software. Using it for some patient scheduling, but I need to make a few modifications, and am unsure how to do this. The modifications are as follows:
1. I would like the schedule tab to show Project Names instead of Resources. Originally I just created a new Resources Value list, but can this script be modified to read a Projects value list instead?
2. I have been attempting to color code individual projects much like how the statuses are colored. I have been trying to find the layout Source No 1 to color code Projects, but so far have been unable to achieve this.
Thanks!

Interesting ideas. Ultimately, though, I don't think color coding by project will be that rewarding: I'm not sure how you're going to have one color per project unless you have just a few projects.
One approach to colors would be to load your project names into the Assign Colors window (get to that from the calendar settings). But you may be better served by creating the color $$Variables directly by looping through your projects. Take a look at the script "Apply Color Settings { Close , Dont Refresh }" and at the SetVariable line within the loop. You'd need to do that once for each project, using the project name instead of our color name. Then on your Source No 1 layout, use the project name instead of our status field on the Colors tab. Using Projects as columns on the scheduling screen is more interesting. Two simple things here should get you there. First, load your project names into the $$sc_ResourceList variable as described in the second to last section here: http://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.p ... .Resources Then, map your project name field to the resource field we show on the Resources tab of your Source No 1 layout. Good luck and I'd be interested in seeing a screen shot when you get this all hooked up. - John John Sindelar
