Assigning Loan Documents to Banks
Loans that are Assignable to Banks can have their Assignment Documents reviewed, zipped and e-mailed to the Bank. This is done on the Servicing page on the Assignment Tab.
1. Select Documents Select the documents you want to send for the transmittal using the checkboxes to the left of their PDF Icons.
- Documents that have been uploaded and Checked will be included in the Supporting Documentation Included List on the Transmittal Cover Sheet.
- Documents that have not been uploaded and Checked will be included in the Items To Be Delivered List on the Transmittal Cover Sheet.
- Review Document sizes for warnings. Assignment Packages must be under 10MB in order to send by e-mail. Although we are zipping these documents together, that does not make PDFs much smaller, so Packages may need to be split into multiple Transmittals in order to not exceed 10MB.
2. Print the Assignment Documents for Signatures The Assignment Documents are the Assignment of Deed of Trust to Bank and the Note Endorsement to Ban and can be printed using the print assignment docs button on the upper right of the screen.
3. Upload Signed Assignment Documents Once the Assignment Documents are signed, upload them to the Item Type Assignment of DOT and Note
4. Create Zipped Transmittal Package Using the create transmittal package button in the upper right, you can zip the checked and uploaded documents together and see the resulting zip file at the bottom of the page. Confirm that it's size is under 10MB so it can be e-mailed. If it's larger than 10MB try creating two or more smaller Transmittal Packages so they can be e-mailed.
5. E-Mail Transmittal Package Using the email transmittal package button to the left of the file size column you can send the package to the bank right from here. Make sure the Bank info, including contact and e-mail have been populated at the top of the page. When the package is successfully e-mailed, the uploaded documents will have their sent to bank timestamps and initials populated accordingly.
